Sneak peak of a game (omg this is so laggy)

 If ya’ll can figure out how to make this less laggy please tell me, but here is a sneak peek of the game I am making next (this game might be scratched bc I’m moving onto Unity soon) https://play.creaticode.com/projects/67e1a815628c7a862450df7e

 WASD to move after the seed has loaded

 @the_true_odst Based off of Thid New Ocean? (Idc if it is, if it was, then i’m happy)
-

 @sirbots Nah it’s based off of Astroneer
-

 @the_true_odst Nice.
-

 @sirbots hey if you want you could help me with it?

 @the_true_odst sure.

 @sirbots Here’s the test room: https://play.creaticode.com/projects/67e45ca9e53a95a57785cd48

 If you can make a building UI that would be cool; I have the sprite for it already. I will add the buildings soon.

 @the_true_odst K. Currently working on TNO (This New Ocean) 2.0 patch notes atm, and trying to fix the build menu on 1.3. Might be a bit.

 @sirbots I have the first image for the blueprint – Mining Rig. I don’t have the actual structure yet
-

 @sirbots I have all 3 upgrades for the hangar and the hangar picture. When you have time, please implement placement of the buildings and upgrading them. Thank you.
-

 @the_true_odst heh… I know you irl
-

 @attractive-milk That’s not in any way suspicious to anyone in this forum?
-

 @the_true_odst How am I supposed to do that? Upgrading, haven’t done. Placement, gotta study the movement code.
-

 @sirbots I was gonna let you experiment? I can do it, it’s fine
-

 @the_true_odst I can experiment. It’s just, I have never wrote code for directly upgrading one building.
-

 @sirbots My idea was, when they press the object in the blueprint screen (press q when it completely loads), there’s a faded version of the model hovering on the mouse. It is green (and place-able) when it isn’t touching any other models, and red when it is. When you click and it’s green, it will spawn the model. When you get near the model, a UI screen pops up near it asking if you want to upgrade it for the right materials.

 @the_true_odst Ah, I see. If you want to borrow some placement code, you can go to my game and take some.
-

 @sirbots I’m not sure yours would work, since it’s not top-down like mine is.
-

 @the_true_odst It is somewhat top down. I suppose you could just alter the general placement to fit your game.
