i was wondering if this was called CreatiCode Dog
when life give you toasters, make toasterade… something like that

@greeniwastakenyt I think youre right but they weirdly don’t advertise or show their mascot at all outside of the project editor

You can call it that, but the real reason is that the Scratch Cat is copyrighted, and it is not part of the open-source Scratch project. So we can not reuse that cat in our platform as the default sprite.
